My Freedom Isn't Free -- THANKS!

To every person  who now does, has, or will serve in the cause of freedom...I say, "Thank You!"

• Thank you  to all who proudly don an Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, or Coast Guard uniform.

• Thank you  to all who proudly wear a badge of civilian law enforcement.

• Thank you  to all who proudly step forward to maintain the vigilance necessary to see that we remain a free people.
• Thank you  to their wives, husbands, children, parents, lovers and friends who make it possible for them to fulfill their dreams of serving and giving.

Without you,  I wouldn't have the opportunities to succeed, fail, laugh, cry, love, loathe, believe and be skeptical that I cherish. May I say that this open note of gratitude is being penned as I seem to be doing more of the latter of each pair of opposites. Yet, I'd not trade places with anyone living outside of this great country in which I, thru no act of my own, find myself.
